"Goodwill Ambassadors of Beauty" is a concept that is hard to argue with. Since its foundation in 1960, the Miss International Beauty pageant has called for "achieving world peace through mutual understanding"; namely, through the appreciation of beautiful women.
The FCCJ cannot guarantee that hosting the top three prize winners of the 2013 contest will immediately bring about world peace and understanding, but it may very well succeed in creating some goodwill among our Club members.
This year's three champions are Bea Rose Santiago of the Philippines, Nathalie den Dekker of the Netherlands, and Casey Radley of New Zealand. Come and hear how they feel about their new distinction and what plans they have in Japan and around the world.
